Dr. William M Herr is the oldest of ten children. He graduated high school as a valedictorian and was student body president for both his high school and college. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Fresno State University. After owning several businesses, he decided to return to school for his dental degree.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Herr has volunteered at several non-profit organizations and American Dental Association's Give Kids a Smile to provide free dental care to those who otherwise could not afford it. He also volunteered in an outreach program to an Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota to provide dentalcare to members of the reservation. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Herr work for an all-Medicaid dental clinic in southern Minnesota for the underserved population before to moving to Georgia.
Dr. Herr continues to attend numerous educational classes each year in order to provide his patients with the most current techniques, products and technology. Dr. Herr is a graduate of the Triangle Dental Institute for dental implant and The Resnik Implant Institute. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The International Congress of Oral Implantologist, Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society.
